4FMV provides recruitment services that respond to the needs of both employers ("Clients"), and applicants, by helping to place the right person in the right position. Personal Information supplied by you is used by us to consider and evaluate your qualifications for either permanent, contract or temporary employment with 4FMV or one of our Clients.

Resumes

Resumes are accessed by our recruiters, human resource professionals and Clients who have enlisted our assistance with a search. Your resume; will not be shared with a Client without your consent, which could be written, electronic consent or verbal.

Use, Disclosure, Retention

You may choose to have your Resume; or personal information removed from our records at any time. 4FMV retains your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose(s) for which it was collected and to comply with applicable laws.

Clients: The personal information disclosed to Clients will be all the personal information required to make an informed decision. Please note that Clients who have used utilized 4FMV's service for a search, or for whose job posting you may have applied, may already have retained a copy of your Resume; in their own systems and databases. In such cases, your Resume; will be subject to their privacy policies or practices. 4FMV is not responsible for the Privacy Policies or practices of such third parties. In such cases, we encourage you to review the third party's privacy policy.

Service Provider Arrangements: We use third parties—who act on our behalf—to help us provide services to you, such as making our website accessible, providing the technology underlying our applicant tracking system and hosting our resume database. We may transfer personal information in our custody and control to our service providers, who may process and store it in Canada, the United States or Australia. Our service providers are not authorized to use or disclose personal information for any purpose other than providing the services on our behalf or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law.

Website Security: We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards in an effort to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure of personal information in our custody and control, including only providing access to personal information to employees and authorized service providers who require such information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Sale of Business: In the event of a merger or sale of our business, we may transfer any information we have about you to a third party or upon a sale or transfer of all or a portion of our business or assets to a third-party acquirer.
