Registering as a Buyer

You should only register as a Buyer, on behalf of your company, if you have the authority to agree to the Buyer terms and conditions, on behalf of your company.

Who can register?

We are happy to accept Buyer registrations from corporations, partnerships, sole proprietors and institutions.

All Buyers who award an hourly contract will undergo a credit-checking process before we can offer payment on account. Until this is completed, or if your company does not have sufficient credit history, you may need to pay for contracts in advance. We are happy to discuss regular advance payments, rather than payment in full, if necessary.

All fixed-price contracts will need to be pre-paid before any work is done by the Seller. This invoice will be generated when the contract is awarded to the Seller.

Register as a Buyer and a Seller

When you register, you tell us whether you are a Seller or a Buyer. Using cookies, we tailor the information on the site depending on whether you are a Buyer or a Seller.

So, if you want to register as both a Buyer and a Seller, you will have to register twice.

Invalid e-mail

Invalid password

Your password must be at least eight characters in length. It must include at least one number.

How did you hear about us?

It is useful for us to know how you heard about the 4FMV sites.

If a registered Buyer or Seller told you about the site, please tell us their unique 4FMV ID number.

Data protection

For more information on the ways we protect the information you give us, please refer to our Buyers’ terms and conditions and to our privacy policy.

Under the requirements of data protection legislation, we need you to agree that we may contact you:

• In order to register as a Buyer on any of the 4FMV sites – including 4fmv.ca and affiliate sites – you need to agree that 4FMV can contact you for the purposes of managing the site and the effective running of your account.

• You are free to choose whether, or not, you wish to receive additional information from 4FMV, or from selected affiliate partners or related companies.

Company information

Please provide us with information about your company.

Providing us with your Job Title / Role and Department information will allow us to direct any questions about your account. If these fields are not relevant to your company situation, please leave them blank.

Company name

If you are a sole proprietor, please put your own name, or your company name.

Company type

We are happy to accept Buyer registrations from corporations, partnerships, sole proprietors and institutions.

Address

The default address, for the purposes of registration, should be the company trading address. You are able to specify an alternative address, which may be the company registered address, for the purposes of invoicing, if necessary.

4FMV has a commitment to pay Sellers for every day that they work on contracts gained through the 4FMV websites. Because of this, all of our Buyers undergo a credit-checking process when they award an hourly contract, before we are able to offer payment in arrears.

Timesheets

The 4FMV hourly invoicing process requires that Seller timesheets are approved within two working days. Therefore, you should specify someone else in the company who is authorised to approve Sellers’ timesheets in your absence.

Terms & Conditions

In order to register as a Buyer on any of the 4FMV sites, you need to agree to the 4FMV terms and conditions.

These include the undertaking that any subsequent contract with a Seller you have contacted through any of the 4FMV websites – including affiliated sites – must be invoiced through 4FMV contracts and timesheets.
